You don’t have to go far outside Cambridge to hit leafy meadows and green spaces. And when you stay at Turing Locke, you’ll be in prime position to explore it all. Just two miles north-west of the quaint streets and punts of postcard-fame, Eddington is a brand-new sustainable district.
Cambridge Business Park and other campuses are nearby. It’s a short taxi, bike or Park & Ride bus into the historic centre, and well-located for the airport. And – unusually for the city – there are ample parking spaces, as well as electric charging points and secure bike storage too.

Top FAQs.
Yes, Turing Locke has 65 underground parking spaces available for guest use. Electric cars are also catered for - we have 20 spaces with dual Electrical Charging points which are on a first come first served basis. To use these you will need to download the VendElectric app.
Please note, spaces cost £15 p/n per car. Due to limited availablity on-site, these can be reserved in advance by emailing [email protected], please also let us know if you require an electric space. You'll receive a confirmation email before you arrive with the car park entry code and directions.
Alternatively, there is Madingley park & ride site just a short walk from the property, where you can leave your car for free for up to 17 hours. After that you will be charged £10 per night.
From Stansted Airport:
The closest airport to Turing Locke is Stansted Airport, located around 30 miles away. The easiest and cheapest way to get to Turing is by taking the train. CrossCountry provides services to Stansted to Cambridge Central.
Gatwick Airport:
Gatwick is located around 90 miles from Turing Locke, despite the longer distance there are still direct rail links serving Cambridge Central. Thameslink links Gatwick and Cambridge Central for a cheap and easy way to reach the city or airport.
From the station you can either take a taxi or uber to Turing, or hop on the University 'U' bus which provides services from the station to Eddington.
Turing Locke has a bijou workout studio with everything you need to stay fit while you’re away. Start the day with a weights session. Or crank up the treadmill to get your sweat on. And if you’d rather get outside, we can show you running and cycling routes on our doorstep.
Gym equipment includes:

• 1x Pull machine
• Free weights
• Kettlebells
• Slamballs
Please use the equipment safely and considerately. You'll also need to sign a disclaimer before using the gym, or else using it will be at your own risk.
To keep everyone safe, to make use of the gym you must book a 1 hour time slot with a House Host at front desk.
