We’re sorry, however, that several elements of the room didn’t meet expectations. A space that feels too dark or noisy can really affect comfort, and your comments about the ventilation, road noise, and layout of the bathroom are genuinely helpful for us. We also apologise for the issues with the shower head, the inconsistent hot water, and the cleanliness of both the room and the kitchenette dishes. This isn’t the standard we aim to deliver, and your feedback will be shared with the housekeeping and maintenance teams so we can address these points.

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback, it’s really helpful to understand both what you enjoyed and what didn’t feel quite right during your stay.
It’s great to hear our location, comfort of the bed, shower, storage space, and the friendliness of the team all stood out positively for you.
Your comments about the room maintenance are important. Stains on curtains, dust build‑up, marks inside furniture, and food traces are all things that should be picked up during regular checks, so I appreciate you calling them out. We will ensure to pass your comments onto the relevant teams.
Just to clarify, our check‑in time has never been 3pm. Standard check‑in is 4pm, and all guests are welcome to request a 2pm early check‑in for £30 if they contact us at least 24 hours before arrival. Thank you as well for mentioning the noise from vehicles outside. Even though it’s out of our control, it’s still useful for us to know how it affects the stay, especially for light sleepers. For your next stay I would recommend booking our City Studio - City View as they are situated further away from the road.

For a quieter stay next time, our City Studio – City View rooms are set further away from the road and tend to feel much more peaceful.
